Appointment Gamification in an E-Learning Environment Based on and Their Effect on Developing Digital Citizenship Concepts Among College of Education Students

Abstract

The current research aimed to designing an e-learning environment based on gamification and their effect on developing digital citizenship concepts among college of education students. The experimental design was based on the two experimental groups, The independent variable included an e-learning environment based on gamification, And the dependent variable is gamification. The research tools were an achievement test for digital citizenship concepts. The research sample consisted of 70 male and female students who were divided into two groups according to the two types of simple. The SPSS program was used to test the research hypotheses. The results of the research concluded: There was a positive effect of an e-learning environment based on gamification in developing concepts of digital citizenship for the group that followed the e-learning environment, and the effectiveness of the e-learning environment based on gamification proved to be greater. The e-learning environment based on electronic gamification an effectiveness with a McGogian gain rate greater than 0.6
