Abstract

With the accelerating pace of digital transformation and the widespread integration of artificial intelligence tools, digital content production has emerged as a pivotal means of interaction between information institutions and their user communities. Consequently, the role of information professionals must transcend the traditional functions of acquiring, organizing, and preserving information and knowledge—regardless of their formats—and merely disseminating them to users. Instead, information professionals are required to evolve into knowledge creators, information facilitators, and digital marketers of the resources and services provided by their institutions. Accordingly, mastering the art and science of digital content creation has become a core pillar of contemporary professional practice within the information field.
