Abstract

In light of the rapid environmental changes and increasing sustainability challenges of our current era, there is an urgent need to adopt sustainable environmental practices across all sectors. Among these sectors, libraries, as educational and social institutions, play a vital role in achieving sustainable development goals.
This research aims to explore the impact of applying green library principles and artificial intelligence on sustainable development goals, focusing on Rami Library as an applied model. The research seeks to highlight how to integrate artificial intelligence technologies into the design and management of green libraries, including the selection of sustainable building materials, energy conservation, waste management, and improvement of indoor environmental quality.
Additionally, the research addresses the role of libraries in promoting environmental awareness and implementing sustainable activities among community members, through organizing workshops and educational events. The research is based on applied and analytical examples, with a focus on Rami Library, to provide a comprehensive vision on how to achieve a balance between advanced technology and maintaining environmental sustainability.
