The philosophy of technology is an interdisciplinary branch consisting of different types of technologies, and a variety of epistemological approaches, humanities, social science, natural science, psychology, and engineering sciences, and is addressed by different philosophical schools such as pragmatism, analytics, and phenomenology. The philosophy of technology in general is an attempt to understand the nature of technology, and to understand the impact of technology on the environment, society and human existence. It is a new philosophical branch that emerged nearly half a century ago, but it is one of the fastest growing and expanding philosophical branches. It is not surprising, as the problems of the philosophy of technology revolve with technological progress, which is proceeding at a pace that no one would have thought of. Don Ed is considered one of the most prominent philosophers who spoke about technology in particular. His books are numerous and varied, most of which deal with the phenomenon of technology through a comprehensive study of all its dimensions, for example: “Introduction to the Philosophy of Technology”, “Technology and Work”, “Technology and the World of Life”. Instrumental realism. In addition, he is one of the third and contemporary generation philosophers in North America who excelled in the philosophy of technology.
