The effectiveness of mobile learning applications and its impact on the development of academic rehabilitation skills for children with autism disorder
The current research aims to measure the effectiveness of mobile learning applications in developing the academic rehabilitation skills of a sample of children with autism disorder. The research sample was determined from 15 autistic children, where the chronological age of the sample ranged from (6-8) years, and the IQ ranged from (80-109) according to the Stanford-Binet test, the fifth picture, and the degree of autism according to the Cars 2 test ranged from (30-33) degrees, where The research tools consisted of 1) the achievement test to measure the cognitive aspects of pre-academic skills, 2) a note card of the autistic child's performance to acquire pre-academic skills,. the results of the research resulted in defining standards for mobile learning applications to develop the academic qualification skills of children with autism disorder using the general model ADDIE for educational design and development, and applying its methodological procedures with making some simple modifications that are commensurate with the nature of the current research. The results also revealed that the experimental group, which used mobile learning applications, was effective in testing the cognitive achievement of academic rehabilitation skills for children with autism, according to the modified Blake gain ratio.
