The role of the learning management system in supporting self-learning from the point of view of students of Arab East colleges

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the degree of application of the learning management system in the courses in the colleges of the Arab East from the point of view of the students. There are (210) male and female students.
The study found that the results of the dimension "Degree of application of the learning management system in courses in the colleges of the Arab East from the point of view of students" the general arithmetic mean of the dimension (3.69) with a standard deviation (0.87), came with a (significant) degree of agreement, and came in the first place employing management system tools Learning to serve self-learning, followed by training on dealing with search engines contribute to increasing the effectiveness of self-learning. I also found that the results of the dimension “The reality of self-learning among students in Arab East colleges from the students’ point of view” consists of (16) phrases, and the dimension expressions ranged from The arithmetic mean is between (3.98 - 4.30). The general arithmetic mean for the dimension was (4.04) with a standard deviation (0.83), which came with a (significant) degree of agreement. The first place was to send the required work from students related to the course through the system, followed by the degree of applying the learning management system in the courses in the colleges of the Arab East from the point of view of students.
