Open science contributes to scientific cooperation and information sharing between researchers and the community and between researchers and each other. It also contributes to increasing and improving scientific knowledge and disseminating it on a larger scale. So that anyone in the world can search for science and knowledge they possess without restrictions. The guide falls into two parts; The first is a reference guide for defining the open science movement and laying the theoretical foundations. The section has come in eight main axes, each of which deals with a number of sub-axes. The two researchers relied on a large number of specialized sources in the field of open science. There are 92 sources, of which 69 are in English. The book is an addition to each of the Arab libraries, which are in dire need to enrich them with reference works that introduce all stakeholders to the foundations of the open science movement.
