Abstract

Building information sites is a task that designers, developers, and content strategists often share, but regardless of who performs this task, the building information sites field is an automatic and independent field and includes many influences, tools, and resources that deserve investigation and research to achieve integration among them.
The informational structure begins with the users of the site in the first place, and the information sites are not limited to classification, search, and engines, but each user may follow multiple behaviors in searching for the same information. Therefore, the information site structure designers need to understand these disparate needs and behaviors, so that the site structure design is compatible with those needs and behaviors. Therefore, by applying the analytical approach to the literature content and studies published in that field with a vision based on the theoretical review, this research paper aimed to discuss the perception of real and virtual libraries and to present work and marketing tools to create library sites.
The study found the dangers of excessive vision in simplifying the search process for information and needing to know information needs when designing websites.
